How To Make Pesto

Homemade pesto is versatile and super simple to make, with a full flavored gourmet taste!

BASIL PESTO

Toast 1/3 cup pine nuts in a dry skillet; let cool. Pulse in a food processor until finely ground. Add 3 cups basil, 1 clove garlic and 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt; pulse until finely chopped. Add 1/2 cup grated parmesan; pulse to combine. Slowly pulse in 1/2 cup olive oil.

CILANTRO PESTO

Toast 1/3 cup pepitas in a dry skillet; let cool. Pulse in a food processor until finely ground. Add 3 cups cilantro, 1/2 teaspoon orange zest, 1 clove garlic and 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt; pulse until finely chopped. Add 1/2 cup grated aged gouda; pulse to combine. Slowly pulse in 1/2 cup olive oil

MINT PESTO

Toast 1/3 cup sunflower seeds; let cool. Pulse in a food processor until finely ground. Add 3 cups m int, 1 teaspoon chopped rosemary and 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt; pulse until finely chopped. Add 1/2 cup grated pecorino; pulse to combine. Slowly pulse in a 1/2 olive oil.
