Bob Plager’s Beef Brisket

A great brisket for dinner or even better for next day sandwiches.

Ingredients
1 beef brisket
2/3 cup ketchup
1 T. brown sugar
1 T. red wine vinegar
1 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
1 tsp dry mustard
1 T. flour
6 onions, halved

Directions
Season brisket with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Brown brisket on both sides under broiler.
Put in roaster with onions and bake at 350 degrees for an hour and half.
Make sauce in bowl with remaining ingredients and pour on brisket. Bake covered for another hour and half.
Slice brisket when cool.
