Ingredients:
- 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon confectioners’ sugar
- 2 tablespoon chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Prepare the Strawberries:
- Cut the hulled end of each strawberry so they stand upright on a plate. Slice off the pointed tip of each strawberry and set it aside to use as the “top.”
- Make the Whipped Cream:
- Beat the heavy whipping cream and confectioners’ sugar in a glass or metal bowl until soft peaks form.
- Assemble the Treats:
- Spoon a dollop of whipped cream onto the flat side of the strawberry base to create a “face” and “beard.” Place the reserved strawberry tip on top as the “topper.”
- Add a small dot of whipped cream to the top of the “topper” for decoration. Use additional whipped cream to make two small dots on the base as “buttons.” Add two chocolate chips to the “face” to create “eyes.”
