BBQ Pulled Chicken Sliders

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 6 hours
Serving Size: 8 sliders

Ingredients:

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
8 slider buns
Coleslaw (optional)

Instructions:

Place sliced onions in the bottom of a slow cooker.
Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
In a bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, broth, and brown sugar.
Pour sauce over chicken and onions in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
Shred chicken and mix with sauce.
Toast buns and assemble sliders with chicken and coleslaw if desired.
