Spooktacular Pretzel Rods

Servings: About 12 pretzel rods
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes (chilling time included)

Ingredients:

  • 12 pretzel rods
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or white chocolate chips for a spooky twist)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles or decorations (like candy corn, spooky eyes, or crushed candies)

Instructions:

Melt the Chocolate:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using).
  • Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.

Dip the Pretzel Rods:

  • Dip each pretzel rod into the melted chocolate, making sure to cover at least two-thirds of the rod. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.

Add Decorations:

  • While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle your Halloween-themed decorations over the chocolate-covered portion of the pretzel rods.

Chill:

  • Place the decorated pretzel rods on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for about 10 minutes, or until the chocolate has set.

Serve:

  • Once set, your Halloween chocolate-covered pretzel rods are ready to be enjoyed! Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge.

Feel free to add your own twists to the recipe or modify the decorations for extra creativity! Happy Halloween! 🎃
