All-American BBQ Bacon Cheeseburgers

Nothing says Memorial Day like a juicy burger fresh off the grill. These BBQ Bacon Cheeseburgers are stacked with smoky bacon, melted cheddar, and tangy barbecue sauce for the ultimate backyard favorite.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • 8 slices cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • Lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Form into 8 burger patties.
  4. Grill burgers for 4–5 minutes per side or until cooked to desired doneness.
  5. Add cheddar cheese during the last minute of cooking.
  6. Toast buns lightly on the grill.
  7. Assemble burgers with bacon, barbecue sauce, and favorite toppings.
  8. Serve hot with chips or fries.
