Banana Nut French Toast Bake

This make-ahead breakfast bake combines the flavors of French toast, bananas, cinnamon, and crunchy pecans into one delicious Father’s Day treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread, cubed
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Powdered sugar for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place bread cubes in a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  4. Pour mixture evenly over bread cubes.
  5. Top with sliced bananas and pecans.
  6. Let sit for 15 minutes to absorb the custard mixture.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown and set.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
